Concussion Bill Advances

On March 30th, the Public Health Committee reported HB 6987 favorably, which included language to include Physical Therapists in the list of health care professionals allowed to participate in a Connecticut High School athlete's "return to play" protocol.  CTAPTA member Chris DiPasquale and Executive Director Jim Leahy, CAE submitted testimony testified on this issue before both the Children's Committee and the Committee on Public Health. 

The bill must still pass the full House and Senate prior to the June 3rd adjournment date.
