Oncology SIG
The Oncology SIG of APTA Connecticut is the second Oncology Rehabilitation SIG in the United States. Our purpose is to provide a forum for APTA Connecticut chapter members who have a common interest in oncology rehabilitation.
OBJECTIVES

To further the objectives of the APTA Connecticut chapter.

To meet the needs of persons interested in oncology rehabilitation and those providing physical therapy care for the oncology population.

To provide a mechanism for the exchange of information among physical therapy educators, researchers, practitioners, students, and other persons interested in oncology rehabilitation.

To identify and promote utilization of standards of competency for practice, research and education in oncology rehabilitation.

To promote evidence-based physical therapy practice.
MEMBERSHIP
Members of the APTA CT chapter in good standing are eligible for membership in the Oncology SIG.
