Blood-Flow Restriction Resistance Exercise for Older Adults with Knee Osteoarthritis: A Pilot Randomized Clinical Trial

This session will be lead by Regine Rossi

Regine Rossi received her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from New York University. After undergoing physical therapy for a torn labrum, Dr. Rossi decided to change careers and entered the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Baylor University. She will graduate in December 2020 and hopes to begin a post-graduate residency in sports or cardiopulmonary physical therapy. Dr. Rossi looks forward to combining her DPT with her background as a professional educator in order to help patients understand the relationship between movement and medicine. She lives in Stamford with her partner (who likes to insist he always knew she’d spend most of her life in school!) and their two rescue dogs.

What is a PT journal club?

A PT journal club is a meeting of a group of physical therapists and/or physical therapist assistants, designed to present, review, discuss and critically analyze recent articles, germane to the common clinical interests for promotion of evidence-based practice.  It is a great way to help keep up with the professional literature and have valuable conversations with colleagues with the same practice interests.
