March 2018: Rachel Hoffman

We are happy to spotlight Rachel Hoffman DPT CSCS CMP as our first CTAPTA Member Spotlight. Rachel graduated from Quinnipiac University and is currently employed Quinnipiac Physical Therapy and Sport’s Medicine in Hamden. Rachel became a PT to help people achieve better physical capabilities.   “I like how PT is noninvasive and more personable than other professions in medicine.” She is a CTAPTA member because it helps to progress our profession.  In her spare time, she works out, plays sports, enjoys hiking DIY projects and plays ukulele. A colleague describes Rachel as a clinician who is dedicated to professional growth and has become certified in dry needling and a certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) in addition to volunteering to attend advocacy day on behalf of our profession taking time off from work. She is also dedicated to PT student education as a clinical instructor, integrated clinical experience preceptor, and mentor.”
